Position Summary:

The primary function of this position is to manage and coordinate the activities of the Quality department.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff responsible for all quality assurance functions.
  • Develop quality systems, procedures, methods, and controls to ensure incoming and outgoing material conforms to established standards.
  • Coordinate and approve all part sample submissions for new and/or revised products.
  • Implement and maintain quality policy and procedure and work instruction manuals.
  • Assist in resolving any quality issues involving vendors, customers, quality representatives, and other personnel.
  • Prepare required reports and provide information to management as requests.
  • Prepare annual business plan.
  • Assist in the development of capital investment projects.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Promote teamwork and support team improvement committees and activities.
  • Identify and propose cost reduction/avoidance ideas, productivity, efficiency, and quality improvements.
  • Maintain continuous improvement of the department and the services delivered to the external customer.
  • Support all efforts to ensure that ISO/TS 16949 requirements are met and maintained.
  • Support all efforts to ensure compliance with the environmental policy and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of plant, division, and corporate policies as they relate to plant operations.
  • Management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • High degree of self motivation and independent decision-making.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent
  • Five to seven years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and quality.
  • Minimum of three years in supervision or management.

Position Summary:

The primary functions of this position is to ensure all process quality requirements are met through monitoring, maintaining and improving the products and processes while ensuring all conformances to specifications (performance, costs, and timing), and the needs of the customer.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the current products product, process quality results, as well as defining and implementing corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance of data for production processes and standards for process control.
  • Assist the business units in the monitoring and resolution of current product problems by analyzing product/process quality results, development of improvement plans, and taking action to improve plant performance.
  • Contribute to the continuing evolution of the plant processes.
  • Manage the Layer Process Audit system for the facility.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure compliance to QMS and ISO/TS16949 Standards.
  • Prepare annual business plan.

Position Summary:

The primary function of this position is to supervise the activities of the members of the Materials Department to ensure all company goals and objectives are achieved.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

    Supervise staff in customer service, inventory and vendor management, shipping, receiving, and material handling.
  • Maintain staff competence and diplomacy in handling daily contacts with customers and vendors.
  • Ensure timely resolution to any problems, discrepancies, or other issues involving customers and vendors.
  • Track performance and provide monthly input to management on Materials Department measurables.
  • Participate in periodic planning and budgeting activities.
  • Provide training to department members and maintain up-to-date training records.

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years in supervision or management (automotive environment preferred such as Ford or Chrysler).
