Category 6 ECO Cable

Recent improvements have made our ECO™ Category 6 cable better than ever! The engineers at our New Hampshire facility, where ECO is made, are always finding ways to improve the electrical and physical performance of our products. After significant research and testing, the new ECO offers reduced pull tension, meaning it pulls more easily from the box than previous designs, and its core has been improved to dramatically reduce internal torque, resulting in a cable that lays flatter when pulled from the box, thus making installation easier. ECO is UL verified to the TIA Category 6 standard so it will reliably support PoE, gigabit Ethernet, and the latest Ethernet application from IEEE, 2.5GBase-T, which delivers 2.5 gbps. ECO is tested from 1 to 555 MHz and has no internal pair separator. Due to this, ECO is one of the smallest Category 6 cables available. Versus typical Category 6 cables, the small outside diameter of ECO permits more cables per conduit and the use of smaller J-hooks and other support devices. ECO is packaged using patented Reelex™ technology and utilizes a box made from 100% post-consumer materials in their natural color. The package, like all other HCA packages, has no waxy or chemical coating and therefore is more easily recycled. The ecologically friendly ECO is HCA’s greenest Category 6 cable. ECO is, as always, made in USA.
