Probe Cable
Probe cables contain numerous micro coaxial cables bound together to transmit image and other data signals. Hitachi Cable provides finer cables in response to the demand for multicore cables to allow denser infoelectronics. We succeeded in producing a 48AWG size micro coaxial cable, and developed a more flexible probe cable SONOEASE® to reduce the strain for medical staff when making diagnoses. Based on these advanced manufacturing technologies, we can meet various medical needs, including ultrasound diagnostic apparatus, with our rich product range. |

Hollow fiber optics
This fiber optic cable can transmit infrared lasers such as Er-YAG and CO2, that are most promising for medical/dental laser treatment applications.
Because of a hollow structure, reflection at the both ends can be almost eliminated, while a glass capillary ensures flexible operation. Its capability to transmit high-power laser energy is utilized in dental laser treatment. |
